Our world today is wonderful. We have so many opportunities, luxuries, and freedoms. We have accomplished so much as a people--and as individuals. There is always a great, ambitious push to do more. Sometimes our focus on achievements seems to be only pointed towards work, cleaning the house, or making sure we do that exercise routine daily. And yet, Elder Uchtdorf reminds us in this short video that the real accomplishments in life are the times that we stop, look around, and think of others--the times we experience love and joy with loved ones.
The other things will get done--or they wont. Yet in the end it will not matter whether you had a clean sink or not. I'll not judge your dirty dishes...
