Wonderful Wednesday: Patience

Good Morning Sisters!!

We hope that this Wonderful Wednesday Message finds you in good spirits this Thursday morning!   We apologize for making you wait a whole extra day to receive a spiritual boost.

Hopefully this weeks message about patience will be more fitting.  As each day comes and goes we find ourselves in situations that require a great deal of patience on our part or on the part of those around us.  Of all the things that we are here to perfect, patience is probably one of the greatest.  How many things in our lives would run more smoothly if we had an extra teaspoon of patience?  Truly patience is one of the greatest attributes a person can have and perfect.

We hope you all find President Utchdorf's message uplifting.  Exercise faith in the Savior, have patience, and never give up.

Wonderful Wednesday: Why We Build Temples

Good Morning Sisters!

On this beautiful Wednesday morning we wanted to share another message with you.  As temples are the topic of the Ensign, and our most recent Wonderful Wednesday message, it seemed appropriate to share this additional video on temples.

We must not only understand the blessings of the temple but the reasons why we as a church do so much to build them.  If we do not know and appreciate the reasons for the existence of the temple, it is impossible for us to fully understand what it is that is so important about these sacred buildings.

This message brings information and testimony from our church leaders and also some insightful and heartwarming messages from leaders who are not of our faith.

We hope you will enjoy this message and try to come to a deeper understanding of the purpose behind our temple building.

Wonderful Wednesday: Temples

Sisters:

On this beautiful Wednesday morning we wanted to share a little message with you.

Wednesday is the halfway point of our week.  Usually it seems to be the day when we realize the that week is almost over and we can either finish out strongly or endure until we meet again on Sunday.

As this month's Ensign is based upon Temples, and since we are halfway through the month October (crazy!!), this message seemed fitting.  We hope it will buoy your spirits until we can refil our cups together on Sunday. Please click the link below to see the video :)

Welcome Sisters!!

Welcome to our new ward Relief Society Blog!  This blog will become the primary place for us to share news/events, uplifting messages, and information about new sisters other than our Sunday meetings.  We will be regularly adding new posts of upcoming events, new move ins, group activities, questions we have for you as a group, and uplifting messages.

We hope to make this blog a way for we as sisters to communicate throughout the week.  Since we only meet once a week on Sundays we felt it was necessary to help us grow closer to have another medium of contact with you.  We are so excited to begin this blog and create a place for our community of sisters to grow. We have many ideas of ways we can use this blog to bring us closer together and help to keep us informed.

If you have anything you would like to post or an idea of something you would like to see appear regularly on our blog please feel free to email us at kennesawwardrs@gmail.com.  We can't wait to get started!

With love,

The Relief Society Presidency
